This is an Argentine M1909 2nd Pattern bayonet for the Mauser rifle Model 1891 and 1909. It features a 15.75" blade and total length of 20.5", one side of the ricasso is marked "MODELO ARGENTINO 1909" with Argentine crest and serial number, the other side says "WEYERSBERG KIRSCHBAUM & CO SOLINGEN". The scabbard has a matching serial number to the bayonet and has a leather frog attached. Overall condition of the bayonet is good, the edge appears to be original. There is some tarnishing to the metal that looks to have been cleaned up leaving some light pitting, the wood grip panels have some dings and pressure marks. Buy online today!
