This is a used Browning BAR MKII Safari rifle chambered in 30-06. It features a 22-inch barrel, 4-round magazine, Leupold scope base with 1-inch rings, sling studs, blued finish, and wood furniture. Overall, this Browning is in good condition with some handling marks on the stock. Bore condition is good with crisp rifling. Based on Browning's serial datasheet, this rifle was manufactured in 1998. The left side of the barrel is marked "Made in Belgium Assembled in Portugal". This would be a good choice for hunting.
