This is an antique Burnside 5th Model carbine chambered for 54 Burnside. It features a 21-inch barrel, percussion ignition system, saddle ring, and steel butt plate. Overall, this carbine is in good condition with normal age-related finish wear showing on the barrel, receiver, and stock. The stock has a crack near the lower tang.
