This is a WW2-era Colt M1911A1 pistol chambered in 45 ACP. It features a 5-inch barrel, 7-round magazine, fixed sights, thumb safety, grip safety, aftermarket trigger, Colt frame, Ithaca slide, and synthetic grips. Includes U.S.-marked Graton & Knight Co. leather holster. Overall, this Colt is in good condition with normal age-related finish wear throughout the slide, barrel, and frame. The front sight has been shaved. The frame features a "P" proof and "WB" inspector mark on the left side. A United States property stamp is visible on the right sight of the frame. Based on Colt's serial lookup, this pistol was manufactured in 1943. This would be a good choice for military surplus collectors. Buy online today!
