This is a very early Colt Python revolver chambered in 357 Magnum. It features a 6-inch barrel, blued finish, checkered wood target grips with gold medallions, and 6-round cylinder. The serial number indicates this Python was manufactured in 1960 and five-digit serial number examples such as this one are highly sought after. Overall condition is good. The bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. There is some minor holster wear to the cylinder and around the muzzle. The bottom of the barrel lug also has some wear along with some areas of very light pitting. The wood grips are in nice shape with some light wear in some spots to the checkering and a few scuffs.
