
Spreewerk P.38 Vz46 Czech Post-War Rework 9mm Pistol, 3,000 Made - Collectible Gun *1946*![]() PRICE: $999.99 $1,349.99This is a very rare German WW2 Spreewerk P.38 post-war Czech re-work. This gun is is chambered in 9mm and bear both German Waffenamt markings along with Czech proof marks, the "46" on the right side of the trigger guard indicates that this gun was re-worked in 1946. The Czechoslovakian government needed to balance the need for service pistols with limited resources, the Vz46 made heavy use of parts stocks and machinery left over from the German occupation, as well as complete P.38s claimed as spoils of war. The Czech rampant lion inspection mark is visible on to of the rare Boehmische Waffenfabrik barrel is coded "fnh". The original Spreewerk serial number has been x'd out and a new matching number added to the frame, slide and barrel. The magazine is marked 'jvd" (Spreewerk) with a Eagle/359 Waffenamt. Included with the gun is a WW2 manufactured soft flap pebble grain holster marked "CXB/4" indicating Joseph Moll manufacture. Overall condition of the gun is good with some holster wear and light patina in a few areas, the bore has some light frosting but decent rifling.
