French S.A.C.M Mle 1935.A (Model 1935A) 7.65x20 Longue - Collectible
This is a French S.A.C.M (Société Alsacienne de Constructions Mécaniques) Mle 1935.A (Model 1935A) pistol chambered in 7.65x20 Longue. It features a 4.25-inch barrel with 8-round capacity magazine, and black enamel finish. The serial number prefix is "G" which would put the date of manufacture at 1948. The number at the end the slide is different and the barrel is only marked "A". The 1935A was developed in 1936 as direct licensed predecessor to the Sig P210 and was designed by Charles Petter for the French Army. Sig later purchased this license then improved upon the design and developed the P210. Overall condition of this pistol is good. The bore has plenty of shine with strong rifling and there are no import markings. This would be a great addition to any military surplus collection. Buy online today!
