High Standard Model 106 Military Supermatic Trophy 22LR Pistol, James E Clark Custom - Collectible *1965*

PRICE: $1,499.99

This is a classic High Standard Model 106 Military Supermatic Trophy pistol chambered in 22 Long Rifle. It features a 5.5-inch slab-side barrel, blued finish, checkered wood target grips, full-length Bo-Mar sight rail, and 10-round magazine. The serial number indicates this pistol was manufactured in 1965 and the barrel is numbered to the pistol. The left side of the barrel is engraved "J E Clark Shreveport, La" which would suggest this pistol was customized by the legendary pistolsmith James Edwin Clark of Clark Custom Guns. Unlike most Clark Custom Guns you see this one is engraved with his name, most are marked "Clark Custom Guns" which makes this example a bit unique. We do not know all the work that has been done to this pistol other than what we can see by visual inspection but the trigger is fantastic. Clark was not just one of the most successful NRA Bullseye pistol champions of all time; he was also a U.S. Marine combat sniper, an award-winning pistolsmith, and successful businessman. Clark died in 2000 at the age of 76. Overall condition of this pistol is good with an excellent bore. There are a few spots of minor wear to the bluing and some light scratches. This would make a great addition to any custom pistol collection or just a nice shooter. Buy online today!
