This is a Colt Gold Cup National Match M1911 "Pre-Series 70" pistol chambered in 45 ACP. It features a 5-inch National Match barrel, high gloss blued finish, checkered wood grips with gold medallions, and adjustable rear sight. According to the serial number this pistol was manufactured in 1964. Included with this pistol is the original foam insert and a 7-round Colt magazine. The condition of this pistol is good with a bright shiny bore and strong rifling, overall condition would probably rate at about 85%. The bluing has light wear to the frame and slide and there are some light scratches including a faint "idiot mark" below the slide stop. This would make a great addition to a Colt handgun collection.
