Simson Model 1922 Vest Pocket 25 ACP Pistol, Non-Working - Collectible *1920s*

PRICE: $1,499.99

This is a rare Simson Model 1922 Vest Pocket pistol. It features a 2" barrel and 6 round capacity of 6.35mm (25 ACP) ammo with blued finish and hard rubber grips and was manufactured sometime in the early 1920's. The left side of the frame is marked with the early rollmark "WAFFENFABRIKEN SIMSON & CO. SUHL,” over the Simson logo and on the right side of the slide is marked “SELBSTLADEPISTOLE SIMSON D.R.P.", the top of the barrel is marked “CAL 6.35” and a nitro proof mark. All of the numbers appear to be matching, it has a three digit serial number with 12 serration slide and concentric circles on the safety lever which makes this a very early model but late enough to have the synthetic grips with screw. Unfortunately this Model 1922 is in non-working condition, it needs a new firing pin as the one that is currently installed is slightly out of shape and someone has modified it to try and create a sear engagement notch but their efforts were in vein as it does not catch onto the sear and hold it back as it should. Due to the nature of the issue with the firing pin it is very possible it could cause a slam fire so the firearm will be shipped without the firing pin and spring inserted, we suggest a qualified gunsmith look at it before being installed.
