This is a Smith & Wesson Model 49 No Dash Bodyguard revolver chambered in 38 Special. It features a 2-inch barrel, blued finish, shrouded hammer, checkered wood grips, and 5-round cylinder. The serial number indicates this revolver was manufactured in 1983. Overall condition is excellent. There is no wear to the bluing, except a light turn ring. The cylinder timing is fine and the lockup is strong. The wood grips are in perfect condition. The box is in decent shape with wax paper wrapping inside.
