This is a collectible Smith & Wesson Registered Magnum revolver chambered in 357 Magnum. It features a 6.5-inch barrel, 6-round cylinder, adjustable rear sight, checkered top strap, checkered hammer, and all matching numbers. This revolver was registered and shipped from Smith & Wesson in 1937 to a Mr. Marvin DeWald of Wheaton, IL. According to the previous owner of this revolver, Mr. Marvin DeWald was a Police Officer for the Wheaton Police Department. just outside of Chicago, IL. Included, is a Factory Letter from 2014. Overall, this Smith is in good condition with signs of use and age throughout the finish on the receiver, barrel, and frame. There is a notable cylinder line present. The bore is in very good condition with sharp rifling and shiny cylinder chambers. This would make a great choice for those looking to own a documented and collectible Smith & Wesson.
