Spanish Llama Model 1 7.65mm (32 ACP) Pistol, GECO Marked With Holster - Collectible *1943*![]() PRICE: $999.99This is a Spanish Llama Model 1 chambered in 32 ACP. It features a 3.65-inch barrel, blued finish, checkered wood grips, lanyard ring, and 9-round magazine. The date code on the left side of the frame "Ñ" indicates a 1943 manufacturing date. The right side of the frame has the Gustav Genschow & Co "GECO" trademark stamp to the right of the serial number. It's estimated that only about 1,000 of these guns were sold in Germany during WW2. This pistol would have been sold to a member of the German armed forces, one of the few "approved" German civilians, or to Nazi Party members. The italic "GC" proof on the right side of the frame below the serial number indicates it was originally made for the Spanish Civil Guard, or 'Guardia Civil'. Included with this pistol is a period correct leather flap holster, probably not originally designed for this gun but fits it very well. This pistol is in fair cosmetic condition. There is quite a bit of wear, light pitting, and patina to the frame and slide. The bore is in excellent shape; it's bright and shiny with strong rifling. The wood grips are in nice shape with some minor wear to the checkering. Despite it's cosmetic condition, this is a rare opportunity to own an incredibly scarce piece of WW2 history. GECO marked Llama pistols very seldom appear on the market for sale and are highly sought-after by collectors. This would make a great addition to a WW2 firearms collection. Buy online today!
