This is a Korean Conflict-Era Springfield Armory US Rifle M1 Garand rifle chambered in 30-06 Springfield. It features a 24-inch barrel, parkerized finish, and uses 8-round en-bloc clips. The serial number places the date of manufacture to 1952, which aligns with the barrel date of 12/52. All marked parts are correct for this rifle, and the stock is appropriately marked with the "SA JLG" (J.L. Gaylord) inspector stamp found on early 1950s M1 stocks in 4.2 million serial range. Overall condition is good with an excellent bore and chamber in the white. There is some wear to the metal finish and the wood has a few scuffs, scratches, chips, dings and pressure marks.
