U.S. Remington Model 03-A3 30-06 Sniper Rifle - Collectible Reproduction

This is a U.S. Remington Model 03-A3 reproduction sniper rifle chambered in 30-06. It features a 24-inch Remington Arms barrel dated "9-43", parkerized finish, and has been very nicely converted to resemble a 1903A4 sniper rifle. This rifle was manufactured in 1944 and the left side of the stock is marked "RIA EB," which indicates a post-WW2 rebuild supervised by Elmer Bjerke, foreman of Small Arms Inspection at Rock Island Arsenal from 1947 to 1958. The rifle has been drilled and tapped for a scope mount and fitted with a Hi-Lux Optics reproduction M82G2 scope with crosswire and post reticle. Overall condition is good with a bright shiny bore and strong rifling. There is some minor wear to the metal finish along with a few light scratches. The wood is in nice original shape with some scuffs, dings, nicks, and pressure marks, but markings are easy to see. Also included is a cleaning kit that fits into the buttstock.
