Weatherby Crown Grade Mark V Custom Shop 257 WBY Mag Rifle, With Leupold Scope - Collectible

This is a vintage Weatherby Crown Grade Mark V Custom Shop rifle chambered in 257 Weatherby Magnum. It features a 26-inch barrel with engraving on the receiver, floorplate, scope mounts, rings, and stock. The bottom of the floorplate displays a gold elk and there are some initials in the gold diamond on the bottom of the foregrip. The Walnut stock is extensively carved with deep oak leaf design and the metal with flora pattern. These rifles were only available by special order through the Weatherby Custom Shop. This example was manufactured in Japan and the serial number would date it to between 1974 and 1981. Included with the rifle is a Leupold Vari-X III 4.5x14 AO scope with fine duplex reticle. Overall condition is very good with a bright bore and strong rifling. This would make an excellent addition to any Weatherby collection. Buy online today!
