Argentine M1891 Mauser Bayonet With Aluminum Grip By Weyersberg Kirschbaum - Vintage Bayonet

This is an Argentine M1891 Mauser bayonet. It features a 16.75" blade and total length of 20.5", this version has aluminum grip panels and is marked "MODELO ARGENTINO 1 H8669" (only part of the "1891" date can be made out) on one side of the ricasso and on the other side is marked "WEYERSBERG, KIRSCHBAUM & CO, SOLINGEN". The scabbard has the a matching serial number to the bayonet and and is marked "RA" on the tip for República Argentina, the right side of the bayonet pommel also bears the "RA" marking. Overall condition is good with the original edge, there is some tarnishing to the blade and light corrosion is some spots. The scabbard has some wear to the bluing and dented near the bottom on both sides however this was common practice to keep the blade from rattling inside. Buy online today!
