Armalite AR-7 Explorer 22LR Rifle with Brown Cycolac Stock - Collectible
This is an Armalite AR-7 Explorer rifle chambered in 22 Long Rifle. It features a 16-inch barrel, black finish and brown cycolac (resin) stock designed to float. Armalite produced this rifle from 1959 until 1973 when Charter Arms took over production. Early production rifles came with the brown stock, but there is no definitive source to pin down a date of manufacture. Overall condition is good with an excellent bore and minimal wear to the finish. The inside of the stock is in poor condition and the endcap that the buttplate slips over is missing. The buttplate does fit over the end of the stock and capable of holding everything inside. This would be a nice addition to a vintage firearms collection. Buy online today!
