This is a WW2-era Colt M1911A1 pistol chambered in 45 ACP. It features a 5-inch barrel, 7-round magazine, fixed sights, thumb safety, grip safety, lanyard ring, and synthetic grips. Overall, this Colt is in good condition with normal age-related finish wear throughout the slide, barrel, and frame. The frame features a "P" proof and "GHD" inspector mark on the left side. A crossed cannons proof and United States property mark are visible on the right sight of the frame. The barrel is marked with a serial number mismatched from the frame.
