India (RFI) Made No.1 Mk.II Bayonet For SMLE Rifle - Vintage Bayonet *1943*
This is an India (RFI) made No.1 Mk.II bayonet for the SMLE No.1 Mk.III rifle. It features a 12" blade an overall length of 16.75" and has wood grips. One side of the ricasso is marked with a crown over "G.R.I." (George Rex Imperator) /"Mk. II" /"8 43" /"R.F.I" and the other side has several proof marks. Overall condition is good with the original semi-sharp edge, the metal has some wear and light patina. The wood grip panels have some dings, pressure marks and minor nicks.
