This is a vintage Springfield Armory M1 Garand rifle chambered in 30-06 Springfield. It features a 24-inch barrel, 8-round capacity, wing protected front sight, adjustable rear sight, canvas sling, bayonet lug, and walnut stock. Overall, this Garand is in good condition with normal age-related wear throughout the barrel, receiver, gas tube, and stock. Bore condition is good with strong rifling. The handguard is cracked forward of the barrel band and the stock has a chip at the toe. The barrel has a 1966 date code and was manufactured by Springfield Armory. Based on serial number range, this Springfield was manufactured in 1943. Blue Sky import marks are present on the barrel. This would be a choice for collecting. Buy online today!
