Springfield Armory Model 1898 Krag Jorgenson 30-40 Krag Rifle - Collectible *1899*

This is a vintage Springfield Armory Model 1898 Krag Jorgenson rifle chambered in 30-40 Krag. It features a 30-inch barrel, blued finish, wood stock, and a 5-round capsule magazine. The serial number indicates this rifle was manufactured in 1899. There is no visible cartouche on the stock, but it is marked "77" behind the rear barrel band and on the left side of the buttstock. Overall condition of this rifle is fair. The bore has very little shine with corrosion throughout, but the rifling is still visible. The metal finish is worn with patina and only traces of bluing remaining. The wood is in decent condition with some dings, nicks, and pressure marks.
