WW2 Era Auto Ordnance M1928A1 Type L 50 Round 45ACP Drum Magazine - Vintage Magazine
This is a WW2 era Auto Ordnance M1928A1 "Type L" drum magazine for the Thompson Sub Machine Gun. It features a 50 round capacity of 45ACP ammo and is marked "MAGAZINE TYPE "L" THOMPSON SUBMACHINE GUN 50 CARTRIDGES CAL 45 FOR 1928 MODEL WIND TO 9 OR 11 CLICKS" on the front face plate. The back face plate is marked "AUTO-ORDNANCE CORP. BRIDGEPORT CONNECTICUT REGISTERED IN THE U.S PATEENT OFFICE" with a "U" below which indicates this is a second series drum manufactured by United Specialties in probably about 1941 or after. Overall condition is good with some light scratches and light wear, seems to be in perfect working order. Buy online today!
